I suggest to add roster spots for prospect players who haven't played a certain amount of games in the NFL.
Like 7 guys with 10 or less gp.
Salaries have to fit capspace at all times.
There should be no additional roster spots to promote a player to the active roster.

Real life practice squad rules:
10 player max --> I'd reduce it to 6 or 7 to account for OL not being in our league. Count towards salary cap, but not guaranteed; paid weekly --> I'd keep this. They earn paychecks but no waiver penalty to cut them Fancy Limitations --> I'd water this down to make it easier to follow: 10 or less GP is a good idea. Poaching --> I'd keep this; can sign from other teams practice squads and must stay on active roster. Team losing player cannot keep player if a team poaches him. Waivers: once promoted for a 4th time, the player must clear waivers to go back down. Can be elevated and demoted 3 times without clearing waivers --> Keeping this
